About us:
The EWS Jazz Band is a group of students at the Emerson Waldorf School who get together weekly to play jazz and other music. Students play piano, guitar, bass, percussion, brasswinds, violin and vocals, directed by Dr. Erich Lieth. The mission of the group is to study jazz by playing in ensemble and performing high quality music in public. The band has performed in a variety of venues ranging from private to community events and local cafes.
